We encourage you to complete the application and submit the annual dues.
Good reasons to join the CWBA:
• We generate a more formidable voice with the City and County governments.
• We increase the awareness of our local and regional commerce.
• Network to better understand the area businesses’ goals, needs, and opportunities.
• Support safety and security issues for our employees, customers, vendors, and residential neighbors.
Accomplishments:
• Monthly luncheons averages 25 attendees, guest speakers include politicians, government staff, and, topics presented by professionals and peers.
• CWBA has seventy-five (75) paid members out of 150 companies.
• Supported more police, a better jail solution, improved city services and, pushed for the removal of blighted buildings, and, participated in clean up programs.
• Coordinate a $325,000 City grant for streetscape and gateway improvements.
• Maintain the Doughboy Statue and support improvements at Valley Park.
• Help sponsor neighborhood events: River City Camp Washington Picnic and the Camp Washington Bluegrass & Art Fest.
• Provide input on the I-75 Expressway Project.
• Participate in the Cincinnati Chamber’s Grow Opportunity Cincinnati Project.
• Clearinghouse for information for businesses moving into Camp Washington.
In 2008, Camp Washington was listed in Cincinnati Magazine as one of the ten best communities.
